Her 465 page encyclopedia, "The Kabbalah Handbook, A Concise Encyclopedia of Terms and Concepts in Jewish Mysticism," was published by Tarcher/Penguin in 2007 as the first stand-alone classical reference work in the field. She holds degrees in English and psychology and lives with her family in the Southeastern United States.
